Witch Dens
Witch dens are small homes that belong to a witch (or similar magical person). Depending on the fictional setting, and if witches are good, evil, or somewhere in between, these places may be cozy homes or eerie and terrifying locations. Often these dens are depicted as cottages, shacks, caves, or hillside burrows. These may be a place to obtain a spell or a potion. Or, if the witch is evil, may be a place to avoid unless you wish to be eaten. Witch dens are home to witches, their familiars, and captured children.

Designing Fictional Witch Dens
Witch dens often have rafters from which hang dead animals, trophies, and herbs for potions. They may have a hearth with a cauldron. Being magic, these locations may have impossible architecture including being larger on the inside. They may have portals to other locations. The walls, floors, and ceilings may be covered with magical and occult symbols. There may be bookcases with magic books. There may be prisoner cages or hanging cages. There may be blood upon the floor. The entire house or shack may be able to move and may have legs.
