Mounted Trophies
Mounted trophies are skulls, antlers, tusks, jaws, claws, or other items taken from a beast and placed on display. Fictional mounted trophies may come from a dragon, leviathan, giant elk, or other fictional creature. They are often found in old manors, hunting lodges, and bandit camps. They may be located above fireplaces, on walls, or above gatehouses into forts or outposts. They may mark the location of a hidden doorway.
