Healer’s

The Healers’ (synonyms: doctor’s, physician’s, apothecary’s; example toponyms: Dr. Joe’s Alivarium) is a location in worldbuilding, often in game-oriented fantasy worlds, where players can heal wounds or be revived from death. In some worlds these actions may be performed by a temple, church, or potion shop. Healers are usually found in towns or cities. This location may be a shop, hut, or religious location. They may sell herbs, potions, and tinctures.
When designing a healer’s location, consider the role that the healer plays in the community. Beliefs about disease and healing are a cultural universal, and often healers are revered members of the society. The healer provides worldbuilders a chance to explore the role of health in their fictional society.
