Overview
The defining feature of giant forests is the presence of great trees that far surpass the size of those found in the real world. These fictional plants often have massive trunks, sprawling canopies, and root systems that extend deep into the earth. They are typically found in settings with high levels of magic, or in worlds with distinct geological or ecological conditions that facilitate such immense growth.
Due to the extraordinary environment, giant forests often harbor unique plant and animal life. These might include flying creatures adapted to life in the canopy, ground-dwelling creatures that have evolved to cope with the dim light conditions, and plants with unusual properties.
