Vines are any type of plant that features long, climbing runners or shoots. Fictional vines are often found in jungles, decorating ancient ruins, or tethering floating rocks to one another. In adventure worlds vines are commonly used to swing from location to location or as a rope that connects the ground to the canopy or higher area of a building. Fictional vines may contain flowers, thorns, and may be magical. Fast growing vines that ensnare the helpless are a common type of fictional plant.
