Cult lairs are usually home to cultists, cult leaders, devotees, and summoned demons and eldritch gods.

The location of the lair may depend on the belief system of the cult.
Cult lairs in fantasy worlds may be locations where the cult is attempting to awaken an ancient god, create a portal to another dimension, or bring about the end-times.
