Shipwreck towns are towns built up from the remains of shipwrecks or ship graveyards. They are found in both fantasy and pirate worlds and may be versions of a fantasy town. Shipwreck towns usually feature town buildings fashioned from the hulls of broken ships. As they depend on the wreckage of sea-going ships to exist, they are typically located on a coast, on an island, on a reef, or somewhere else near water. They may be free floating within the ocean. They may be near treacherous waters or leviathan territories. They are home to pirates, crewmates, sailors, castaways, and smugglers.
