Overview
Fictional sacrificial altars are often found in places like catacombs, evil temples, cult lairs, cannibal dens, and crypts. These monoliths are often constructed from stone, bone, or some fictional material important to the evil religion. Occult symbols may be carved into the altar. The sacrifice of humans or the letting of blood at these sites is often important for an evil ritual and the altar may be covered in blood and people bits.
The proper offering at a fictional sacrificial altar may bring about the end times, awaken a sleeping god, trigger some ancient machinery, or just be an evil factions’ idea of a good old time.
