Ice caves are caverns created from the ice. They may lead to snow tunnels and icicle caverns. They may contain underground rivers and underground lakes formed by the melting snow and ice. In fictional worldbuilding, ice caves may hide underground ruins, frozen animals, crashed spaceships, or lead to hidden underground biomes. Ice caves are often home to yetis, Neanderthals, and ice elementals.
