Old Chests

Old Chests

Old chests (synonyms: luggage, containers) are old and weathered containers often found in long abandoned locations or sheltered away in cellars, basements, attics, or hidden rooms. Old chests may be locked, and a key required to open them. They may have travel stickers or documentation adhered to their surface. They may contain treasure maps, strange relics, old adventuring gear, skeletal remains, important notes or journals, cursed paraphernalia, or other peculiar items.

Dust can be used to highlight how long an old chest has sat untouched, or if it has recently been opened.
