Jagged rocks are rock or stone outcroppings that are razor sharp and may resemble fangs, teeth, knives, or other dangerous and deadly items. Jagged rocks are used by worldbuilders to both symbolize danger as well as actually be dangerous. They may be found at the bottom of a pit or sudden drop off, they may line the sides of a ravine labyrinth to help convey the danger of this area, or they may be found in the background as a mountain range that helps set the tone of this world or region.
