Frozen lakes are lakes that have partially or entirely frozen over. Fictional frozen lakes can either be treacherous places where characters may suddenly fall through the ice, or quaint sites where couples ice skate and children play ice hockey. Frozen lakes may have floating ice on their surface. They may be fed by frozen rivers or frozen waterfalls.
