Fire swamps are a fantasy biome or region that combines dense swampland or jungle elements with fire elements, usually fire spouts. Fire swamps may contain areas of quicksand, giant trees, vines, roots, and other elements. They may be home to bandits, fire spirits, and rodents of unusual size.

Overview

Fictional fire swamps are often depicted as inhospitable places. As such, they may exist on the frontier of a country or be guarded by watchtowers lest some monster emerges from them during the night.
