Bell Towers

Bell Towers

Bell towers (synonyms: belfry; example toponyms: The Bells of Saint Guhan’s) are buildings (or portions of buildings) which contain a bell or bells. These can function as a clock, a call to prayer, a call to meeting, a musical celebration, or a warning for community members to seek shelter in times of danger. Bell towers are home to monks and strange creatures.

Bell towers in ruins or damaged may contain damaged roofs.

Designing Fictional Bell Towers

When designing a fictional bell tower, consider the meanings of the chimes and what each potential message sounds like. A bell tower may have important religious or cultural significance.
