Animal Stalls

Animal Stalls

ELEMENT

Animal stalls are small animal pens, often found within a stable or barn. Fictional animal stalls may house fictional creatures. There may be hay piles within. Larger animal stalls may be used for pregnant animals to give birth in.

Synonyms: animal pens, animal rooms
Example Mythonyms: Daisy’s Stall

Overview

Worldbuilders designing fictional animal stalls must consider the needs of the animal being housed. This is especially true if these stalls contain a fictional creature. The size, behavior, and other characteristics of the animal will help determine the space needed for the stall. Obviously larger creatures will require more space and doors, ceilings, etc. will need to accommodate any fictional physiology.
