Aerial minefields are fictional minefields suspended in the skies. The mines of these locations may be held aloft by balloons, may be flying drones, may be suspended by magic or tethered to some fictional levitating material – whatever the in-world reason, these areas can pose a danger to any character or flying vessel that wanders into them. Aerial minefields may help defend flying cities or towns, be placed on borders between hostile nations, or be hidden amongst floating rocks.
