Windmills

Windmills

Windmills are mills that use the force of moving air to operate their internal mechanisms. As such, they must be located in an area that experiences high or consistent winds, such as plains, mountain ranges, or hills. Windmills may be sawmills, gristmills, papermills, textile mills, or another type of mill. Their internal machinery can be set up to saw, roll, grind, or hammer continuously.

Wind turbines, a more modernized version of a windmill, converts wind power directly into electrical energy.

If your world has fictional materials or resources, consider if windmills may be used in the production or refinement of this resource.
