Tight Squeezes
Tight squeezes are any narrow space or corridor that a character may need to pass through. In fictional worlds these are often tight cavern spaces, narrow crawlspaces, or the thinning gap between the closing walls of a trap. Tight squeezes are often used to elicit a sense of claustrophobia and are often used in horror worlds in combination with characters being pursued by some malevolent force. Tight squeezes are home to spelunkers, contortionists, people that often drop their hats, and people that stubbornly refuse to back up.
