The Pipes

The Pipes

The pipes (synonyms: pipelines, ducts) are a location of long linear or interconnected pipework. These pipes may be strong enough and secured enough to walk on or may be large enough to walk or crawl through. They may connect different locations within a building or complex and serve a similar role as the vents. If they are elevated, they may operate akin to catwalks. The pipes may transport liquid or gas and may contain valves that determine if they are full or empty. They may carry superheated steam, and their destruction may lead to the release of this hazard. In more playful worlds they may function like waterslides for those within them and may empty into storage pools. Pipes may be found in the sewers and industrial areas.
