Fictional scattered factions may cling tightly to their culture and traditions, and may attempt to create small pockets of territory that feel like their original home. Often, scattered factions are looked down upon by others in their new homes that do not wish them to be there. This conflict can create narrative opportunities for worldbuilders. Members of scattered factions may be seeking to restore or reclaim their homeland or may simply be seeking vengeance.
