In narratives, parking garages are often the sites of clandestine meetings or an ambush. They are home to security guards, office workers, and people sleeping in their cars.

Parking garages can be above ground or underground structures. Consider the number of levels a fictional parking garage contains and if it is connected to building it serves or stands alone. Parking garages may be open to the public, or may be private garages serving one specific company.
