Mushroom Forests

Mushroom Forests

Mushroom forests (synonyms: fungal woods; example toponyms: The Great Mushroom Forest, the Fungal Lands) are a fantasy region found in worlds where giant mushrooms grow like trees. They may be found either above ground or beneath the surface in cave systems. Subterranean mushrooms may glow in the dark. If these mushrooms are being cultivated, they may be a mushroom farm. If these mushrooms are homes to fantastic creatures, they may be a mushroom village.
