Industrial fans are gigantic heavy fans. In fictional worlds they are often found in vent systems and industrial areas where they often serve as terrain hazards for people attempting to sneak past. There may be ways of stopping or jamming them, allowing heroes to pass through safely. If someone was not successful, they may have left a corpse.
