Grass Seas
Grass seas are fictional regions or biomes areas where tall grasses dominate the landscape and behave as an alternate seascape. Boats or similar vehicles may ‘sail’ across these great expanses. Grass seas may have their own form of ‘islands,’ usually in the form of rocky karsts, mesas, or hills. They may have their own leviathans lurking beneath the grassy waves.

Overview
Worldbuilders using these areas should not discard what is beneath the ‘surface.’ Tall grasses may form tunnels and avenues all hidden beneath the swaying meadows.
