Dead Ends

Dead Ends

ELEMENT

Dead ends are locations where a path, trail, tunnel, or corridor comes to an abrupt end. However, looks can be deceiving and fictional dead ends are often not what they first appear. Fictional dead ends often lead to the sewers, the vents, the rooftops, or a hidden doorway. In worlds with magic or advanced technology, dead ends may be an illusion or a projection and the path may actually continue onwards. Dead ends are home to the trapped victims of serial killers, suspects fleeing escape, and the hopelessly lost.

Synonyms: end of the road, a wall
