The Seven Deadly Sins

The Seven Deadly Sins

The Seven Deadly Sins (or Cardinal Sins) are a group of vices that are often incorporated into fictional worlds. They make their appearance in riddles, in characters and/or monsters personifying them, or as references in named items or locations (sword of wrath, isle of pride). While the Deadly Sins originally stem from Christian beliefs, they are popular worldbuilding elements and can be found in many worlds that are otherwise non-religious.
