PROJECT UPDATE 2022/10/01
We are excited to present a new World Archetypes section. This showcases common world types regardless of genre. These can be used as a base layer for any world (or region within it). In addition, we are rolling out element tables associated with those biomes that list locations, events, and buildings generally found within those regions. Tables can always be a daunting thing, so don’t hesitate to press the simplify button to narrow the results.
We have begun including simple instructions for drawing visual elements, such as the watchtower above. You’ll find this, and others located in the blog. In the future we will expand these to another section of the website and also include instructions for common map elements, like drawing coastlines, rivers, mountains, and more.
We now have a page on gods & religion, always a common element in any genre of world.
We have also added a number of various other miscellaneous pages. These will be listed in the Components. Or just keep an eye out for them as you peruse the site!
